Gerard has over 40 years’ experience in the IT industry as a consultant and executive manager. He provides a wealth of knowledge and experience in both the Corporate and Government business operations having worked for both sectors in providing IT strategy planning, solution design and implementation, sales and account planning, specification writing, tender preparations and evaluations, tender responses, contract management and negotiations, project, and service delivery management.
Gerard’s extensive areas of knowledge includes professional and managed IT&T services, IT Department establishment, information security services, ICT Life Cycle Management, staff augmentation, Telecommunication network services, Virtualisation and mobility solutions and Software licensing.
Having been a Victorian committee member of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) Gerard has a deep understanding of what’s required and needed to be able to do business with Government and vice versa. With superior leadership skills Gerard can communicate, interact and articulate within all key internal business units involved in all aspects of a client’s project to ensure the successful outcome. These stakeholders can include Legal, Marketing, Engineering, IT Architects, Customer support (Help Desk), Product management, Marketing, Service delivery and Company senior executives.
